In partnership with WANE 15, Honor Flight Northeast Indiana will part of an hour long salute and Thank you to area veterans. (WANE 15 will once again host the show. They will visit with area veterans and help tell their stories, tell unique stories of veterans with are partners around the US along with 8 segments produced by your own HFNEI – all in an effort to help show the veterans of our community – what Honor Flight is and that “It’s time to sign up”. Honor Flight Northeast Indiana will host 8 segments during the show with interviews with veterans, information on the application process and a look behind the scenes at the volunteer work that it requires to make the flights possible.

This special “show” first and foremost is a call to action to our veterans of the area who have not yet signed up for an Honor Flight. Their time is NOW! Please don’t hesitate. There are too many veterans that think “It’s not my time” or “I don’t deserve to go”. Those are false assumptions. If they served in uniform – then they are eligible to go. They did not have to serve during battle, in theater, etc. Even if they served stateside during their entire enlistment – they are still fully eligible for an honor flight.

This show is basically our “big voice” our chance to tell the story of why our Veterans need to sign up now! Believe it or not – HELP US SPREAD THE WORD.
