Top priority is given to the senior veterans - World War II survivors, along with other veterans who may be terminally ill. We are taking applications and flying Korean veterans at this time and taking applications for the waiting list for Vietnam and beyond. Our mission: To transport America's Veterans to Washington DC to visit those memorials dedicated to honor the service and sacrifices of themselves and their friends. Honor Flight Northeast Indiana is a recognized 501(c)(3) organization, and all contributions are tax deductible to the full extent of applicable tax law.
Honor Flight Northeast Indiana provides four to six (4-6) flight opportunities each year to take our honored veterans to see their memorials in Washington D.C. Flights are in the spring and fall, taking a break over the summer, each flight followed by a welcome home ceremony at the airport that night. Find information for upcoming flights and homecoming information here.
If you, a loved one or a friend served in military uniform from World War II to present, you are eligible to participate for a FREE trip to Washington D.C. to see the memorials built to honor the sacrifices you made and to the many whom were lost protecting our right to freedom.
We receive requests from private individuals, other charitable organizations and businesses to fund raise on our behalf to support the Veterans. We humbly appreciate your consideration and generosity. We ask that you simply review these considerations and guidelines.

Mr. Covert....
Thank you for one of the most memorable days of my life. Everything ran like clock work.
Dear Mr. Covert and Staff,
It's difficult for me to express how grateful and privileged I feel about the Honor Flight I was chosen to be a part of on 19 September. A simple, verbal "thank you" does not seem adequate or hardly even suitable for such a fantastic day, so I want to thank you better in this letter.
The Fort Wayne Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 14 supports the efforts of Honor Flight every month offering their meeting lodge for our use for monthly meetings. We appreciate all their organization does as well as all the FWPD officers that support our program. THANK YOU!
